Kevin Sehlmeyer has 24 years of experience in the Fire Service, including six years in the Michigan Air National Guard as a Crash Rescue Fire Fighter. He currently is head of training for the Grand Rapids Fire Department overseeing the training of 230 employees. He has been the Chairman of the Michigan Professional Fire Fighters Union Safety and Health Committee since 2004. He became a State Certified Fire Instructor in 1995. He is certified to instruct many programs for the State of Michigan Office of Fire Fighter Training. Kevin has a BA in Management and Organizational Development from Spring Arbor University.
